Make yourself feel at home in a modern well maintained 5 bedroom house. I am offering a double room. The bathroom is shared. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the kitchen for guests to make drinks whenever they wish. I don't offer breakfast, but the kitchen can be used. Secure private parking + additional on the private approach road. The space My home is located in Fontwell, West Sussex, England. Nestled between the South Downs National Park and the south coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty making it ideal for walking, cycling and exploring. Within easy traveling distance, there is a wide range of world-class sporting and cultural events, including horse and motor racing at Goodwood, horse racing at Fontwell, Gold Cup polo at Cowdray Park, Midhurst. Five miles to the west is the historic cathedral city of Chichester with its comprehensive array of shops, lively restaurants, and bars as well as the internationally renowned Chichester Festival Theatre. The picturesque town of Arundel with its famous historic castle and cathedral, many antique shops and tea rooms is also just a 5-mile drive away. The Goodwood estate, home of the internationally renowned Festival of Speed and Revival Motor Show as well as horse racing at probably the UK's most scenic horse racing course, is just 5 miles away (with my local knowledge you are there is 10 minutes) and the Fontwell racecourse famed for its national hunt racing is just across the road. The beautiful Sussex coast with a range of beaches and access for water sports is a few miles away to the south. Slightly further afield at around 40 minutes’ drive is the port city of Portsmouth with its historic naval dockyard and home to the Royal Navy, HMS Victory and the Mary Rose. To the east is the seaside city of Brighton around 40 to 50 minutes’ drive. Brighton is famous for the extravagant Royal Pavilion, shopping in The Lanes and its vibrant nightlife. In addition, there is a local pub/restaurant a 5-minute walk away. There is good rail access to these principal towns from Barnham station, which is a 5 minute drive away. Guest access Whilst this is my home, I am flexible and keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, so if necessary use of other areas in the house (kitchen/utility etc.) can be agreed in advance. During your stay You will always be met, settled in, and made to feel at home.
