Grandfather Manuel's House

Another very important aspect of this project stems from the fact that the owner's father has been collecting, for many years, a varied set of agricultural and domestic utensils, as well as those linked to the work of the flax that was harvested in the Alfaiates stream, many of which belonged to his grandparents. They are true museum pieces, which portray ways of life that have now disappeared. These pieces can be seen as an additional attraction of Casas do Torreão and Alfaiates. The space Casa do Vô Manuel, located in the Medieval Village of Alfaiates, has two bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds. It also has a sofa bed in the living room. The master bedroom is a suite, with a full bathroom. The single room also has a full, private bathroom. Access to the house is through a private entrance, with an outdoor space, a balcony and a table with two chairs to relax or have meals on sunny days. This house is located on the upper floor of Casas do Torreão, with access via stairs, with a beautiful and unobstructed view of Serra da Estrela. Guest access the host will hand over the keys on site.
