Cabin in Falkenberg

Here you live in the countryside in our farmhouse Brygghuset. Please note that the cottage is located ON the farm where we ourselves live and conduct business/work. Here on the farm there are cats, dogs, chickens, and Icelandic horses. We value the privacy of our animals and hope that you as a guest will also show respect for the animals on the farm. Feel free to greet the horses, but it is not allowed to feed them or be in their pastures or in the stable. The chickens are sensitive individuals that can become very stressed and scared if you run after them. The space The cottage has seven beds, five in the sleeping loft and a sofa bed with room for two people on the lower floor. The cottage has pillows and duvets for all beds. There is a kitchen that is equipped for 7 people with fridge and freezer, coffee maker, microwave and stove/oven. In the living room there is a sofa bed, armchairs, TV and fireplace (more wood is available in our carport). Inside the cabin, there is a separate shower room, a toilet and washing machine. The brewhouse has its own garden with terrace, barbecue, outdoor furniture and lovely views of pastures, forest and lake. We sort all waste such as food scraps, plastic, metal, glass, paper etc. Bins for sorting and instructions for this can be found in the cabin. Garbage sorting is in our carport, a brown container for food garbage (in brown bag) and green container for household waste (in garbage bag) is at the road/entrance to the farm. ! If you are traveling with small children note that the steps to the loft are narrow and steep and that the sleeping loft does not have railings towards the stairs down. Please let us know in advance if you bring bed linen and towels with you, or if you want to rent this from us (SEK 50/person). Final cleaning is provided as a tenant and cleaning equipment and instructions are available in the cabin. If you do not have time or opportunity to clean yourself, it is possible to book this service by us at a cost of DKK 500 for up to 3 nights. If you rent 4 nights or more, it costs SEK 1,000. In Fegen there are good opportunities to experience lovely nature, hiking, fishing, mushroom and berry picking or skiing, or just enjoy the view from the terrace or of a fire in the fireplace? Here you will find peace and quiet! Guest access Tenants have access to the entire cottage with its own patio and garden with fence and gate. In the cottage, there is a fireplace with a high coziness factor. 🔥 Note that it gets very hot on the outside and on top when you fire it. There are tools and firewood for the stove in the cottage. If you need more wood, just let us know. Also, take the opportunity to rent our cozy sauna with room for many and a fantastic view of the horse pasture, ponds and lake! Rent the sauna for SEK 250/night, we light it and clean it after you. Paid through Airbnb, in cash or via Swish. Down by the small lake Gölen, there is a small jetty and a rowing boat for 2-3 people that we are happy to lend you! In the cottage, there are two life jackets 🚣‍♀️ Other things to note It is important to know that we who rent out Brygghuset also live on the farm, right next to the cabin. We protect the privacy of our animals and hope that you as a guest will also be respectful of the animals on the farm. Feel free to say hello to the horses but it is not allowed to feed them or be in their paddocks or in the stable. We DO NOT offer tour riding but are happy to give tips on places that have such business. The hens are sensitive individuals who can get very stressed and afraid if you run after them. Please note that as a tenant, you bring bed linen and towels or rent from us for a cost of SEK 50/person. The cottage has pillows and duvets for all beds. Regarding final cleaning, the tenant leaves the cabin in the same good condition as it was at check-in. If you do not have time or opportunity to clean yourself, it is possible to book this service by us at a cost of DKK 500 for up to 3 nights. If you rent 4 nights or more, it costs SEK 1,000. Please note: If you are traveling with young children or elderly people, be aware that the stairs to the loft are narrow and steep, and that the sleeping loft does not have railings along the stairs leading down.
