The perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life The cabin was built in 2011 and includes everything needed to make the most of your stay. Great for hiking, fishing or just enjoying yourself in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Please note that electricity will be charged as well, based on the actual use during your stay. The space Vormestrand is located on the peninsula of Ropeid, in the middle of Vindafjorden. If you are arriving from Stavanger, take the tunnel to Hundvåg and from there, the tunnel to Tau. Drive towards Hjelmeland and take the ferry over to Nesvik. From there, just follow the road about and hour and take a left towards Sauda and Haugesund. Pass the bridge and take a left towards Hebnes. From there, just follow the road about 30 minutes. There is a sign by the road that says Vormestrand fruktgard, and if you reach the end of the road, you have driven about 2 km too far... The population counts about 16, and this is a place you travel to when you want to experience peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The fjord has several good fishing spots. Fish from land or rent a boat from us, the choice is yours. There are several paths up mountain sides nearby for hiking or just enjoy the tranquility outside the cabin or by the sea. Pulpit Rock is just a couple of hours away, and on the way there you will get to enjoy a lot of beautiful scenery. A bonus that has been pointed out by previous guests is the water quality. The water source has been given an official approval as health water, and we doubt you will get better tasting water anywhere else... It can be enjoyed by itself, along with a nice glass of wine or perhaps a few drops in your favourite whisky. Guest access You will of course have full access to everything that the cabin has to offer, but also to the surroundings on the farm itself. Take a walk in between the apple trees, go and jump on the trampoline or go fishing. A boat with an outboard motor can be rented for an extra charge. Make the most of your trip and go fishing. Please contact us to get the rates for the different boats. Broadband internet can be provided. Other things to note Please note that we offer another cabin for rent on the farm. This cabin was built in 1905 and offers 8 beds and one bathroom. So, if you're several families who wants to vacation together, make sure to book both.
