Cozy thatched cottage on the Elbe

In the Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve not far from the Elbe Cycle Path, you will experience pure tranquility. In the middle of this unique nature, the thatched half-timbered house is located at the foot of a historic windmill. Hamburg and Lüneburg are within easy reach. The space The thatched house is located on our 6,000 square meter natural plot on the edge of the village. Feel free to use our garden. We have many tips ready for you to discover here. Just behind the house you can hike along the Feldmark and the breaking weather, where nature and silence surrounds you. The Elbe beaches with many coves for swimming and relaxing are just minutes away by bike. The barn cafe in the village invites you to coffee and homemade cake on weekends. Guest access The half-timbered house between old trees, divided into two living areas, welcomes you from the first moment with its charming exterior and a natural garden. The well-equipped apartment with your own entrance offers plenty of privacy. Here you can expect your own empire on two floors, Nordic comfortably furnished. On the ground floor, there is the bathroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor, the spacious living area under the thatched roof opens to you. The old green tiled stove provides cozy warmth here. In the bedroom next door, under the traditional beam, the morning sun welcomes you. In the garden there is a private area with garden furniture and Dedon loungers at your disposal. Other things to note As a certified partner of the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve, we operate regionally, ecologically and sustainably. Breakfast on pre-order. For this, I use healthy and nourishing food from the region, and depending on the season, fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables from the garden. The crispy baked granola, fruit spreads and herbal teas are produced in-house, honey from local beekeepers, fresh country eggs from neighboring free-range chickens.
