Cozy thatched cottage on the Elbe

In the Elbtalaue biosphere reserve, not far from the Elbe bike path, you will experience pure tranquility. In the middle of this unique nature, the thatched half-timbered house is located at the foot of a historic windmill. Especially in the cold season, it gets really cozy in the thatched roof skates. Warm up after a trip to nature by the tiled stove and enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The space The thatched roof house is located on our 6,000 sqm natural ground on the edge of the village. Feel free to use our garden. We have many tips ready for you to discover here. Just behind the house you can hike in the Feldmark and along the Bruchwetter, where nature and silence surround you and you can watch cranes, herons, kites and storks. The Elbe beaches with many coves for swimming and relaxing are just minutes away by bike. The barn cafe in the village invites you to coffee and homemade cake on weekends. Guest access The half-timbered house, divided into two living areas, welcomes you from the first moment with its charming exterior and a natural garden. The high-quality furnished apartment with its own entrance offers sufficient privacy. Here you will find your own kingdom on two floors, comfortably furnished in a Nordic style. On the ground floor there is the bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor, the spacious living area opens up under the thatched roof. The old green tiled stove provides cozy warmth. In the bedroom next door, the morning sun greets you under the traditional beams. In the garden there is a separate area with luxurious garden furniture and loungers. Other things to note As a certified partner company of the biosphere reserve Elbe River Landscape, we operate regionally, ecologically and sustainably. Breakfast is available by pre-order. For this I use healthy and nutritious foods from the region, and depending on the season fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables from the garden. The crispy baked granola, fruit spreads and herbal teas come from our own production, honey from local beekeepers, fresh country eggs from neighbors' free-range chickens.
