Traditional Bed & Breakfast on the NC500

Gansclett Croft B&B is set on a working croft in the beautiful surroundings of Caithness. The stunning site is complete with a gorgeous sea-view and the picturesque rolling hills of the Scottish Highlands. The double bedroom comes with a private bathroom. Enjoy a cooked breakfast using our own eggs and home made jam. Located directly off the A99, it is a perfect stop on the NC500 tourist route in a peaceful location. We can also provided storage for motorbikes, bicycles and surf boards. The space Gansclett Croft is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer and a wide array of birds. We are visited by Harris hawks, kestrels, white barn owl, green and gold finches, starlings, sparrows and curlews and lapwings. We currently farm sheep and chickens, grow fruit and vegetables and produce jams and marmalade. We have a retired farm cat called Zak and a border collie called Shep. Guest access The guest double bedroom has recently been remodelled and has a fresh and relaxing atmosphere. The room comes with a private full-size bathroom complete with shower and bath. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind with gorgeous views, then check out our patio and gardens. There is plenty of parking space on the croft and for a small fee you can charge your electric vehicle using the car's main charger. During your stay Happy to suggest local places of interest as there is much to see in Caithness. Other things to note The room comes with towels and bed linen. There is tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. All of the eggs used for our breakfasts come fresh from the croft each morning.
