The home to Brent and Becky Heath, owners of Brent and Becky's Bulbs, nationally known flower bulb experts, speakers, writers, and educators. At one time, this home on Back Creek was the family business. Gardens abound as do the views and space from the wrap around porch. "Hodge Podge", which is passive solar, was built by Brent and Becky using recycled materials. Wood from barns, marble window sills that were once a cruise ship dance floor, and more create a unique home with tons of character! The space "Hodge Podge" is a rustic retreat! We have high-speed WiFi, but no cable TV. And, we only pick up Verizon cellular services, but even that is iffy! But did we mention that we have WiFi? We've also installed a whole-house generator in 2024 and a new roof in early 2025. We may be around working in the gardens, but we will not enter the home while you're there. We're out in "the sticks", so if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet get-away, congratulations, you just found it!
