Fresh herbs can be picked up from the garden and locally you can buy fresh vegatables, wine and olive oil. It is a very quiet area very suitable for walking or cycling. Three mountain bikes are available (for free). If you like to swim, there is a river close by the village of Ranzo or the Mediterranean sea is only 25 minutes by car. Albenga, Alassio and San Remo are lovely places to discover.
