Set in the heart of a beautiful North Oxfordshire village, this cosy period cottage has been recently renovated to provide comfortable and characterful accommodation for up to four guests. The cottage is ideal for a romantic break or a group of friends seeking an idyllic countryside getaway. Souldern is a peaceful and picturesque no-through village with a wonderful, relaxed pub, within easy reach of Bicester Village, RH England, Soho Farmhouse, Silverstone, Oxford and the Cotswold countryside. The space The property has recently been fully renovated and refurnished to a high standard, offering brand new facilities yet retaining its period charm. Upstairs, a light, spacious bedroom with king-sized bed provides stunning views out across the surrounding walled gardens. The luxurious bathroom offers both an over-sized bath and shower, together with two heated towel rails. Downstairs, guests can relax in the cosy, beamed living/dining room and, on colder nights, enjoy use of the woodburning stove (logs provided free of charge). A double sofa bed in the living room provides a comfortable night's sleep for two extra guests. The dining area comfortably seats four, while the newly fitted Shaker-style kitchen also has two stools for perching with the morning paper and a cup of coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, crockery, silverware, glassware and appliances including fridge, mini-freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, 4-ring induction hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. A separate WC can also be found on the ground floor. The kitchen, hallway and WC stone floors are all served by underfloor heating, (in addition to the oil-fired central heating throughout the property). Outside, guests can relax in the sheltered south-east facing garden. Bistro table and chairs are provided in season and BBQ available on request. Other things to note Please note, whilst we have recently installed chestnut paling fencing to provide an enclosed garden area for guests, the cottage garden is self-contained but not completely secluded (see photos).
