Gorgeous three story log "cabin" hidden in the mountains of Dayton Washington. Newly renovated, we kept the rustic feel and mixed in a little touch of contemporary! Able to sleep 16 people, this fully furnished "cabin" is great for family reunions, staff retreats, yoga retreats, quilting retreats (special rates), wine tasting trips, team bonding weekends, skiing/snowmobiling weekends, you name it! Parties or events are not allowed. The space Want to uplug from it all?? Our "cabin" is 10 miles outside of Dayton and sits on 100 acres of beautiful forest land where you may see elk, bear, deer, cougar, grouse, and turkeys. It has a 1400 square foot deck in the front great for entertaining and 2 back patios, the first is just outside of the kitchen and has a large BBQ and seating area, the other is just outside the master French doors. And for you quilters and crafters it is equipped with 20 4' adjustable tables, 16 swivel task chairs, quilting design boards, as well as ironing boards. Dayton is host to many historic sites such as the Smith Hollow School, the Dayton Historic Depot (State's oldest existing train depot) and the Columbia County Courthouse (State's oldest working courthouse). Dayton also has 83 homes listed in the states historical register, stop in at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce to get a walking map. There are also some great restaurants such as the Weinhard Cafe. Enjoy a beer at Chief Springs Brew Pub and order up a great pizza from their restaurant next door. My Dad's place is a great Italian cafe. Grab breakfast at Locally Nourished, Moose Creek Cafe & Bakery, Weinhard Cafe, and Carolyn's on Main street! We are Located just 10 miles from the Bluewood ski resort and less than 2 miles from the wedding venue, The Barn at Blue Meadows.
