House with bay view in the heart of the city.

Our house is located in the heart of the city of Saint Valery Sur Somme in the Courtgain district, a former fishing district. It enjoys stunning bay views from every room. This is a real fisherman's house, with a half-timbered facade and a typical staircase. It is quite narrow and we advise people with reduced mobility and young children not to choose this accommodation but do not hesitate to opt for our other cottage located on Rue Basse des Remparts. The space The house is composed, on the ground floor, of a main room, living room with fireplace and glass wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, stove, oven, dishwasher, (coffee available) and a shower room, equipped with a sink and toilet. On the first floor, there is a living room, both windows of which open onto the magnificent bay area. It is equipped with a sofa, a TV and a double bed bedroom with bay views and a sink. On the second floor, the second bedroom is also equipped with a double bed, and a toilet. A telescope is available to observe nature, tides, boats and many birds. The house is located on a dock that is closed to traffic. It is the ideal place to enjoy the generous nature, the old quarter, but also the main shops, restaurants, bakery, cheese factory, fishmonger, etc., located less than 50 m away. Note, the Place des Pilotes, located directly in front of the house, which hosts a market every Sunday morning that brings entertainment. The Bay of the Somme is a magical place, preserved, conducive to relaxation, walking, and offers many sports activities. We recommend crossing the bay on foot or canoeing to meet the seal colony.
