Up the Creek River Camp.

Up The Creek River Camp is situated just outside of Swellendam on the Napkysmond Road, halfway between Cape Town and Mosselbay. It makes for the ideal get-away for a weekend, or a mid-week break from the busy metropolitan surrounds. We are equipped for groups, bachelor parties, adventure biking tours, functions, and anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. The space Up The Creek River Camp has uninterrupted mountain and river views. It offers twenty A-frame Chalets, The accommodation has a rustic feel and links with the old farmstead for meals, bar and fireside seating. Each bungalow has power points, two 3/4 size beds, a bedside table and interior lights. Bedding and toweling are supplied during your stay. The toilet facilities are shared, with hot running water. Guest access The whole camp is accessible to groups. a Steepish track links the camp to the river terraces for access to the river. The area surrounding the camp is a working farm. Please check with your host before wandering off into these areas. Longer hikes along the river is highly recommended, but it has to be arranged with the host on site. This hike winds along the river through stands of Aloe's and fynbos. We leave only our footprints.... Other things to note Please note that this campsite is outside of town and that there is limited mobile phone coverage, and that there is no wi-fi available.
