The location we offer the guests is a traditional Romanian household, neo-Romanian style, specific to the northern area of ​​Oltenia and built by POTECARI, who once guarded the border with Transylvania, part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The household is located on the Road under the mountain, the northernmost road in Oltenia and with access to Transalpina, the highest road in Romania and one of the highest and most picturesque paved roads in Europe The space The location consists of three distinct and different houses: large house - NOVAC house (with two bedrooms with double bed, suittable for 4 people), medium - GRUIA house (two rooms with double bed suittable for 4 people) and small house - HIREȘ house ( suittable for two people with double bed), each with its own bathroom, a common space quite generous for dining and rest (sopru), a fully equipped kitchen, a courtyard and a glade with hammocks and sunbeds with a very relaxing view. We have fruit trees (apples, pears, cherrys, plums trees ) and vines from which guests can serve at will. All rooms are furnished with care and great love with unique pieces of furniture, extremely old and fragile, with also unique carpets, handmade from organic wool dyed with natural pigments by one of the last weavers in the area, so please guests to treat these objects with the same love and care. Facilities are: barbeque area, wi-free, hair dryer, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen, heating (wood stoves and electric convectors), free parking, bike rental nearby (300m) and in winter we can offer ski and snowboard lessons on request (the owner is also an Snowboard instructor). We can offer lunch and dinner on demand with fresh and tasty local products.
