Cleikum Mill is a modernized character building in the heart the Tweed Valley Forest Park ideally situated for exploring the area, close to shops, restaurants , pubs , cafes and 4 bike shops. We can accommodate 10 people in a practical building with lots of space to relax in. The secure internal bike store is also a drying room and workshop. Five bedrooms , two lounges , two kitchens and bike wash facilities and a washing machine for your kit. Scottish Breakfast available a short stroll away. The space We are situated in the heart of Innerleithen with cafes restaurants, pubs, a tap room/brewery, a supermarket, butchers, greengrocers, bakery and 4 bike shops all within a few minutes walk. All beds are adult size and comfortable. All 5 bedrooms can be set as twins , options to set up to 3 bedrooms as doubles. There are 2 kitchens and 2 lounges and each kitchen has a dining area. The bike store is also a proper drying room with a washing machine and separate drier. There is an option to have a full Scottish breakfast in a hotel restaurant one minute walk away. ( Book the night before) or a Gastro restaurant/pub 3 mins walkaway . Bike hire , Emtb bike hire available locally. The building has always been apart of the community since its conversion from a Mill and before that a Drill Hall. Guest access We provide bike washing facilities outside the front door. There is no garden, but there is a gravel area at the front with a wooden picnic table and benches. A good place to BBQ and relax and watch the world go by. Other things to note This is self catering house , with 2 kitchens and 2 dish washers street parking. Shops and cafes/ pubs 2 mins walk away. (Supermarket shuts 10pm ) We do not provide beds or linen for babies or young children. One cot and High chair available. All beds are adult size. Plenty of tea and coffee Bed linen and towels supplied No shampoos supplied Full Scottish breakfasts available one minute walk away if pre booked the day before. Our practical facilities are aimed to make life easy for people who love the outdoors. i.e secure internal bike store, kit washing facilities and no white carpets!
