Stunning period country farm house, set in a gorgeous gardens, along with arctic cabin, & children's playground . The house is great for families. Luxurious property, all bedlinen and towels are provided. House boast an Aga, large wine fridge, roll top baths, log burners, extensive gardens for you to relax and the children to play in. The space The house is an ideal house for families and friends wanting to relax and explore the area. The house is a hit family gatherings. Will consider quiet hen parties in winter months. Hollyhock House is a peaceful farmhouse in rural village of Stonesfield. It has five luxury bedrooms Ediths room: 2 twin beds Singles or can be made into Superking bed, upon request. Emma’s room: Downstairs: 1 double bed. Roses Room: 1 Super king bed with large en suite George’s room: 1 Kingsize bed, with en suite Teddy’s room: 1 double bed (new June 23) in children's room with roll top bath/sink 1 sofa bed, in snug downstairs The house has all mod cons, in a period property. Wifi and large digital TV Three bedrooms have an on-suite - Roses bedroom super king has wc/sink, roll top bath & large shower. George's (king) has shower WC/sink. Children's room (double) bath/sink. Two separate WC on each landing, one outside the children room and one next to the main kitchen and downstairs loo. Ediths Room: Upstairs Yellow room: Zip Link singles that can be set up as a twin or Superking bed. The default will be two singles unless you request beforehand and we have time to alter the room in-between turn arounds. Kitchen: Aga, and electric oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, , coffee plungers too, mini magi-mix, extensive collection of pots and pans etc. Oak framed dinning room, with large oak table 14 matching back/leather chairs. Welsh dresser, extra large serving dishes and champagne buckets, vintage decorative plates. NEW 34 bottle wine fridge. Theres also a sonos speaker, Original artwork is on the walls painted by a friend of mine called Inkyjinks. All of the bedrooms have beautiful linens. All towels are provided, inc hair dryers. Shampoo and body wash. Each bedroom has a TV/freeview and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Beautifully planted and tended garden including an Arctic Cabin BBQ hut. The arctic cabin has lights inside and plugs for you to charge your phone. The cabin is decorated in a Scandinavian theme and has reindeer skins on the seats. It’s a lovely place to relax and spend the evening with friends. The house has five spacious bedrooms. It's situated in an AOB. Hollyhock House is a period county cottage at the edge of the village on the edge of the Cotswolds. The location is perfect spot to unwind and relax. Fabulous original features throughout. Beams and inglenook woodturners, flag floors etc. Special features of the property include wood burning stoves in the snug and downstairs bedroom, red 2 oven Aga, oak framed dinning room, off street parking for 4-5 cars. It also boasts an arctic cabin BBQ hut in the grounds, set in about 1/2 acre. Property also has a small pond and stepped terrace to lower lawns. (Worth noting if you have small children). Easy access to Oxford, Woodstock - Blenheim Palace, great for Salon Prive, and horse trails (only 7mins from the entrance of Blenheim). Bicester Village, Bourton-on-the-water, Moreton-in the Marsh and Stow-on-the-wold, Burford, Cheltenham etc. Soho Farmhouse is 15 mins away. Full access to the whole house and gardens. Keys are located in a key safe. Code is given close to your arrival. House is rented as a whole property. Stonesfield is a peaceful quintessential English village, famous for its slate mines and the tiles/slates which cover the Oxford Universities. It has a village shop, hairdressers, children's play ground, village hall, tennis courts, excellent hiking area with the Oxfordshire Way on the doorstep. Great for dog walking and cycling. It's a rural location. There are bus services to Woodstock, Oxford and beyond Trains: Oxford Parkway (Marleybone) or Charlbury (Paddington) Well behaved dogs are allowed to stay. No pets upstairs. Guests are asked to keep out of the paddocks behind the house if sheep or horses are grazing in them. Stonesfield is in an Area of Natural Beauty. Hollyhock House is on the edge of the village. It's very quiet and secluded. We have no street lights or pavements. It's a quaint rural community where everyone knows everyone, and everyone is welcome. Dogs are welcome and are charged at £40 per dog per stay. Please inform me if you are bringing a dog. No Cats allowed. The house is situated in an AOB and must not ruin the area for other residence due to loud parties late at night. Guest access The whole house is yours for the time you book. Keys are in key safe. The code will be given prior to arrival. Arrival is 3pm and exit 10:30am. Late check out is midday upon request. At times I can be flexible on arrival and exiting times, providing no other guest are due to arrive immediately before/after you. Other things to note Please remember to empty the fridges/freezer/food cupboards of any food stuffs. Put rubbish in bins on the drive. There is a blue lid recycling bin, no need to sort materials - although glass needs to be put in a black box. You don't have to put the hoover round unless it's really messy, muddy boot marks etc. It's not mandatory and won't effect your refund, but it really helps us if you strip the beds and left used linens in a pile in your room.
