The space This beautifully restored facility was built in 1929 as a hospital. In 2008, a group of volunteers started working to save the building. They did just that. In 2012 the Rice Lodge opened for guests. This bed & breakfast is run by volunteers and owned by the Village of Odell. There are thousands of volunteer hours put into this wonderful place. It is made into a very comfortable, modern facility for guests. There are 10 bedrooms, each with private bath, 14 TVs and more. You pick which room you want to reserve. We have 3 handicap accessible rooms. We have had many family reunions here along with quilting groups, scrap-booking groups, and many other return guests. Guest access When booking a room or numerous rooms ($90 each/night + tax per room), the common rooms (kitchen, living room, conference room, lounge) are yours to enjoy. Other things to note We offer a self-serve continental breakfast with your booking. There are numerous items in the kitchen for you, whether you wake early or sleep in late.
