It is about 1hour and 20 minutes from the Souda harbour and 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Chania airport. It can be accessed through the Chania-Kissamos highway and then through the Kissamos-Elafonisi provincial roads. Transfer to the village can be achieved via private, or rental, means of transport.
