Quirky 16th century cottage in Wattisham Suffolk

Watt Cottage is in a remote village with lovely walks. The local well stocked shop is offering delivery if needed. You'll love Watt Cottage, it's full of charm and character. The cottage is 16th century grade ll listed, retaining many of its original features including an original wood burning stove. It makes the most delicious pizzas and we provide all the dough ingredients for you to give it a go.. The space Wattisham is set in the heart of rural Suffolk, and our cottage is the perfect getaway for families, couples and friends. Relax in the secluded garden, take a stroll across the open fields and visit charming medieval villages close by. Despite a feeling of being in the middle of no where, Watt cottage is easy to get to and is well placed for exploring beautiful suffolk. Guest access You have independent access to the whole house and gardens which comprises of: Ground floor: -kitchen -utility room -living room -cloak room with toilet and wash basin First floor -family bathroom with shower -bedroom 1 den style bed with a double bed mattress, Ideal for children but will very comfortably sleep two adults. -bedroom 2 (large separate bedroom with a super king bed) plenty of space for a travel cot if you need to bring one. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults. Just outside the back door you have a fully enclosed garden perfect for little ones and dogs. There is a picnic bench to enjoy out door dining. Other things to note You can book minimum of 2 or 1 night/nights if it’s showing as available on the calendar, otherwise 3 nights is the minimum. We provide your first bag of logs free of charge then you will need to buy additional bags. You can either bring logs with you (most supermarkets sell logs) or the local shop in Bildeston sells bags There is off road parking for 2 vehicles. Towels are provided The property although for its age does have good height ceilings however there are some low areas(mainly door ways) in some places. My husband is 6ft and finds it quite comfortable. We supply the ingredients for the dough, you will need to bring all the toppings and purée base of your choice.
