Dovecot Dubs is a recently renovated, luxury cottage in the heart of historic Lanark. It is within easy walking distance of shops ,restaurants, pubs and train station . Completed in September 2020 this detached cottage features a large living room,beautiful dining kitchen , two double bedrooms with ample storage, wc room upstairs and luxury bathroom with bath and separate large walk in shower. The cottage is fully equipped for 4 people . There is your own designated parking space but also plenty of further parking in the surrounding area. A small bistro table and chairs provides outdoor seating for morning coffee , evening drinks . Dovecot Dubs is in the perfect location in the ancient Royal Burgh(1140) of Lanark with it’s connections to William Wallace. The cottage is just 1 mile from the Unesco World Heritage village of New Lanark and the picturesque Falls of Clyde. There are numerous beautiful walks and gardens to visit including the Clyde Walkway at Castlebank Park. Glasgow and Edinburgh are 1 hours drive away as well as the Scottish Borders . Dovecot Dubs welcomes you with warm hospitality and will not disappoint. The space This detached cottage sleep 4 with entrances to the front and rear. You will have the entire cottage to yourself. The house is furnished to a very high standard and the fully equipped dining kitchen includes microwave ,washing machine and drier and fridge / freezer . Downstairs is a large hallway leading to the dining kitchen / downstairs bathroom with wc ,washbasin bath and large separate shower/ and large livingroom with 3 seater sofa , relaxer chair and occasional chair and coffee table . The Smart TV is wall mounted ( no subscription services ). There is a bookcase with choice of reading material and the livingroom cupboard has games and children’s toys . Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms . Bedroom 1 with double bed and ample storage and TV . Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and ample storage . A travel cot is available but guests must supply own cot bedlinen . A wc and washbasin is upstairs . There is a small bistro table/ chairs for outdoor coffee / drinks .Please note -There is no outdoor garden . Security cameras surround the external property. WiFi is available. Plusnet supplier with upload speed 9 Mb and download speed 36 Mb. The property has its own designated parking for 1 car but there is also ample parking in the vicinity .
