Welcome to the pearl Solvik! Enjoy a rich property with a beach line to the south, by scenic Ålvundfjord! The cabin is fully renovated and partially new in 2021. How about enjoying fjord views from the cliffs or from a comfortable outdoor sofa under the roof with freshly brewed coffee? Or bathing and lazy days on the rocks? Hiking opportunities in the area are almost endless. Rental of rowing boat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, for boat experts (summer only). Two rooms with double beds, as well as rooms with bunk beds, loft, alcove, baby bed. The space Comfortable well-being in beautiful surroundings with stunning lake views, and sunsets that make time stand still! The cabin is located in a cove with its own pebble beach, jetty and rock. Long sunset, and opportunities for sun almost all year round. The cabin is renovated and partially new in 2021, with a new bathroom with underfloor heating and washing machine, spacious kitchen, loft, roofed outdoor living room and large terrace in front of the entire south side of the cabin. New annex with continental bed and direct entrance to the terrace, with fantastic fjord views. Large equipped kitchen with induction oven and dishwasher, fridge with freezer, waffle iron, coffee maker, kettle, mixer, microwave and more. The kitchen has an open solution to the dining table and living room, and generously with a window facing south. Wifi is provided by Allente/Telenor where we typically measure 10 mbps. We emphasize having good mattresses in the beds, which are ready when you arrive unless otherwise agreed. There are 11 regular beds plus a possible travel cot for baby, divided into three bedrooms plus a double mattress on a low loft (ladder) and a single bed in a screened common area. The living room has a beautiful lake view. The main heating source is an electric heat pump. Long sunsets, here the sunsets are often magical, with glittering golden colors over the sky and fjord. The place has the possibility of sun almost all year round. Worth experiencing! The place is available for rent for quiet and orderly people, as this is a place we are very fond of and use ourselves when it is not rented out. No parties or events are allowed. Please note that cleaning and tidying is NOT included in the price. Before departure, please make the place presentable as it was when you arrived. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are available. (If you do not want to clean yourself, cleaning can be booked for an extra fee of NOK 800 via the host no later than 1 week before arrival.) Bathrooms: ☆ The cabin has a new comfortable bathroom. Bedrooms: * Bedroom 1: Double Continental Bed * Bedroom 2: Two bunk beds (4 pers) * Bedroom 3: Double continental bed in annex, with exit to the terrace and fjord view. Baby travel bed can be provided. * Bedroom 4 = Loft. Double mattress on the loft, access with fixed ladder and low under the roof. :) * Sleeping in a screened common area: A wide single bed (1 m wide). * Baby bed in annex can be provided. (bed linen/duvet/pillow/other etc. you bring yourself :) We will do our utmost to ensure that you have a 5-star experience! WELCOME! Guest access Directions are sent to our guests before arrival and parking can be done right outside the front door. We wish you an amazing stay! Other things to note The cabin is fully renovated and built in 2021, including extensions such as a covered outdoor living room, as well as an annex. Large south-facing terrace along the entire building and fantastic views and proximity to the fjord! For travelers with children, the place is an adventure! Swimming and exciting nature plot where you can look for crabs by turning the rocks in the tide, fishing and walking on the forest roads on the island and more. There are also some toys and games in the cabin. We have amazing summer memories of the place with our children. Please note that children must be looked after on the rocks. Because we have recently been in the construction process, there may be some materials near the parking lot (behind the cabin). Wi-Fi is provided by Allente/Telenor via antenna. Phone and 4G work best on the lake side of the cabin, there may be slightly weaker signals towards the forest. There is a large TV screen with Chromecast, but no TV channels. We have used the screen by sharing content from the mobile phone via Chromecast. Cleaning before departure is not included. There is laundry equipment in the cabin, or it can be ordered via the host before arrival for a cleaning fee. :) It may be possible to rent a Pioneer 13 ft rowboat, see picture of the boat attached (only summer approx. June - August). Only rented to boat experts, and all use of the boat is at your own risk. If you wish to rent a boat, contact the host when booking a stay, or no later than 2 weeks before arrival. English: Pioneer 13 boat may be available for rent. Pioneer boats are known for being stable and seaworthy. If you are interested in renting this boat, contact the host to check availability when booking your stay or at least 2 weeks before arrival.
