On the beautiful Kent coast at Whitstable (Seasalter), The Vista Caravan is ideally situated to explore the area. Short distance from Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Canterbury, there is plenty to see and do. The caravan is tastefully furnished and fully equipped for your stay giving home from home comfort. On the Alberta Caravan park, visitors have access to an outdoor heated pool (April to September), The Clubhouse and children's play area (purchase of visitor pass required). The space The caravan is ideally suited to families and for adults looking for a quite break away. A double bedroom with it's own toilet adjoining, a twin bedded room and a double sofa bed in the living areas means the caravan comfortably sleep 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to rustle up meals, but if you're planning time off from cooking, there are many local restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines! There are also takeaways who will deliver to the campsite! There is a large living area and a dining area. The caravan has wifi, a selection of books, board games and DVDs to occupy the children on any rainy days or when you just fancy relaxing indoors. The large decking area (gated) has outdoor dining furniture for al fresco eating and a small BBQ is available. The caravan is very close to the park amenities (outdoor heated pool, clubhouse and children' play area). We are across the road from Seasalter Beach for lovely strolls, collecting shells and searching for Oysters! Located a 45 minute beach walk or, 10 minute drive away from Whitstable Town Centre , with its traditional high street full of restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and antique/craft shops. The Harbour, home of the famous Whitstable Oyster Festival has craft stalls and restaurants. Family fun at the bowling alley or sports complex is also not far away. Whitstable Castle with it's lovely tea rooms serving afternoon tea and regular events such as Psychic and Craft fairs, Murder Mystery dinners etc. is close by and historic Canterbury is a approximately 30 minutes drive away. Both are served by bus routes from the caravan park. Also nearby are the coastal towns of Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Guest access The caravan is totally for your sole use when you make a booking. You are self-contained in the fully equipped, two bedroom caravan (sleeps 6). There is a double bedroom, a twin bedded room and a double sofa bed in the living room. The double room has it's own toilet adjoining and there is also a separate shower room/toilet. The open plan area consists of a good sized kitchen, dining area and large living area. Double doors lead out onto a large decking area with outdoor furniture. There is parking at the side or opposite the caravan. Whitstable train station is not far away and bus routes run from the caravan site to local areas e.g Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury, Margate etc. Other things to note We have a thorough cleaning protocol we adhere to between hires and the washing of linen and towels in maximum possible temperatures with an antibacterial rinse. The outdoor heated pool closes between mid September to April. It is open at the discretion of park management. Guests need to purchase a visitor pass to access the outdoor pool and clubhouse which provides entertainment (in season) for children and adults, food and an arcade. The children's park is free to access.
