INSIDE * Fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, single electric oven, grill, microwave, tall fridge-freezer, larder and full size dishwasher. * Spacious living area with a squishy 6 seater corner sofa, 50-inch Smart TV, coffee table, footstool. * Dining area with large wooden table and seating for eight people. * Light-filled sitting area with floor to ceiling sliding doors, 2 cosy armchairs, a comfy 3 seater sofa, coffee table and breathtaking sea views towards Land’s End. * Super warm utility room to dry out wet clothing, dogs, wetsuits plus, store bikes, surfboards & beach gear. Including washing machine & clothes drying rack. * Superfast fibre wi-fi and underfloor heating throughout powered by an eco-friendly Air Source Heat Pump. * Baby & toddler friendly: high chairs/seats, bed guard, travel cot (parent to bring bedding), and toddler cups, utensils & cutlery all provided. * Bodyboards, buckets, fishing nets, spades, games, puzzles and books. * Up to two well behaved dogs allowed, if you would like to bring more please get in touch. SLEEPING * Master bedroom with king size bed, blackout curtains, storage shelves, bedside tables and sea view (sleeps 2). * En-suite bathroom (off Master Bed) with large rainfall shower, wash basin and WC. * Second bedroom with double bed, blackout curtains, bedside tables, free standing wardrobe with storage, garden view (sleeps 2). * Third bedroom with 2 x single beds, blackout curtains, chest of drawers and garden view. * Family bathroom with large rainfall shower, wash basin and WC. * Bed linen and towels provided plus iron, ironing board and hair drier. OUTSIDE * Safe 10-minute walk down to Sennen beach along a pretty, quiet lane. * Spacious private deck with Adirondack chairs, 8-seater outdoor dining set, outdoor lighting, charcoal BBQ and stunning sea views towards Land’s End. * Outside warm surf shower, tap, hose pipe and wetsuit drying room. * Large, mature, secluded front garden with sea views, additional outdoor seating and spacious drive with parking for up to three to four cars. * Fully enclosed gardens/outdoor space. THE AREA * Sennen is located in West Penwith, recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1959 and only the seventh area of the UK, and the second in Cornwall, to become an International Dark Sky Park (IDSP). Be ready so marvel at the night skies from our large, private outdoor spaces - several guests have already been treated to evenings watching the Northern Lights on the deck. Guest access Access to all spaces described. Other things to note The return journey from the beach is longer due to the steep hill you need to climb back up, although I believe the benefit of being able to walk to the beach far outweighs the journey back. There is also car parking in the Cove alongside the beach for those with young children or limited mobility but it does get busy during the school holidays. Gwenver beach (sandy) is dog friendly all year round & also walkable from Blue Sky (around 15-20 mins walk depending on the route you take). Both Sennen & Gwenver are lifeguarded between 10 - 6pm during the main holiday season: 5 May - 30th September plus Easter Bank Holiday. No dogs on Sennen beach from 15th May to 30th September / 10am to 6pm. There are also lots of other amazing beaches nearby to enjoy with a car (or via the Coastal Opentop Bus) such as Porthcurno, as seen on Poldark, also the location of the famous Minack Theatre. From April - October inclusive we only accept week-long bookings of 7 nights or more, with a Saturday check in. Staying at Blue Sky is also a good eco-friendly choice. When we renovated the house we took the decision to replace the oil boiler with underfloor heating fired by an Air Source Heat Pump and installed lots of insulation and energy efficient windows and doors. Alongside this we also offer full recycling & waste facilities plus minimise single use plastics inside the house by using refillable hand soap dispensers and toilet paper made only from recycled materials.
