The space Hello I’m happy you’re looking at my home. Please read the other details to note section before booking. I want you to be happy and have my home be the right fit for you. Using enhanced cleaning routine to help Air BNB guests stay safe. Cleaning and sanitizing frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before check-in. Also, well stocked with hand soap, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Common area TV on the first floor with Hulu, Netflix and Prime. This room is on the second floor in the back part of the house so its very quiet and cute. I recently refinished this room so I could move back there and I love this room and its coziness. You will have access to store food and make coffee/ tea in the kitchen on the first floor. Parking is available for a small extra fee. Queen Anne Victorian in the heart of the West Side. The location of the home is ideal for anyone wanting to explore Historic Providence. Very close to the bus route. Just minutes from my house you will find the trendiest restaurants and bars, the culinary fame of Federal Hill. Super close to some hidden gems that will keep you wanting to come back! I have listed some of them in the guidebook so feel free to check it out. The entry system is a four digit lock code. We all take our shoes off before entering home. It helps to keep our little slice of heaven separate from the outside (and cleaning tends to be easier). Most of my home has been lovingly restored yet there are other areas that have not been attended to as of late. Please note, second floor Bathroom is one of the areas that needs TLC. It is important for my guest to know this because it is essential that your stay comes with no surprises and it is a wonderful experience for you. Second floor bathroom, is not pretty yet it is clean and shower and toilet work well (photos are provided). Guest access Guest bedroom and bathroom on second floor. During your stay I will be popping in and out of home to make sure everything is clean and in order but most likely not staying overnight. Other things to note ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE IN THE NAME OF THE GUEST; AND ONLY THE REGISTERED GUEST(S), NOT A SUBSTITUTE, IS PERMITTED TO STAY AT THE PROPERTY. IF SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE REGISTERED GUEST ATTEMPTS TO STAY AT THE PROPERTY, THEY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE; AND WILL FORFEIT THEIR PAYMENT. We all take our shoes off before entering home. I want to make sure everyone's stay is peaceful and happy. Please note the room is one of five that are open to guests. My intention for the space and home is to create a relaxing stay for individuals visiting the area. Parking for one car is available for an extra fee. Please also keep in mind that this home was built in the 1880's, I have done my best to continually restore yet it, yet it is creaky and has an old world charm. If you seek a modern home with advanced amenities, this would not be the right fit for you. Also, I will send a list of mandatory house rules upon check-in and they are also listed here as follows. -Guest room and bathroom are to accessed. -Omit bathroom toiletry storage in bathroom unless you are sharing the items for others. The toiletries in there are complimentary from me. -Quiet hours are from 9pm to 7am on weekdays and 10pm to 8am on weekends. -Shoes off on hardwood floors. -Request extra toiletries, linens, towels and incidentals, they are not to be accessed by guest. -Clean up common areas to sparkle after using, its a shared space please leave no trace. -Conserve energy, turn off all lights after use. -Substance use and smoking is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of stay. -Please keep the door tightly closed going into enclosed porch, it is not heated or airconditioned. -For the protection and safety of all guests, additional overnight guests are not allowed if they are not already included in your reservation. Exceptions can be made with my approval if addressed directly with me. -Upon checkout and during your stay, please take any extra trash outdoors and put in the appropriate trash and recycle bins to the left side of the house. -Any items left on the premises after checkout and not claimed the same day will be disposed of. I realize this list may seem extensive, yet these are guidelines that will ensure a safe comfortable stay for everyone and keep the integrity of the home.
