This beautiful 1905 home is located in one of Walton's finest neighborhoods and surrounded by other beautiful homes. This house is comfortable and quiet with wrap-around porch, private yard, and large back deck. We also have high-speed internet, cable tv, plenty of puzzles & board games to enjoy during your stay. The home is located just minutes from local restaurants, parks, theatre, and surrounded by the beautiful Catskill Mountains! The space This is a very elegant home that maintains most of it's turn-of-the-century details: beautiful woodwork, pocket doors, and period fixtures. The rooms are large and comfortable and all visitors to this home have been impressed with its beauty and charm. Guest access The main living space for guests is the first floor of the house. However, guests will have sole use of the entire home during their stay. That being said, the first floor includes the front parlor as sitting area; the rear parlor as bedroom; dining room; large kitchen with breakfast bar; half-bath with stackable washer/dryer; and rear porch converted to cozy sun room space. Full bath is just up the rear staircase on the second floor. There is a twin bed available in one of the upstairs bedrooms for a third guest if desired at an additional $25 per day. Two of the bedrooms are for our own personal use and will be closed to guests. Other things to note As you will be renting the entire house, which is quite a large living space, please be sure to read the entire house guide so you will be able to handle heating/cooling issues, find information on the TV and internet, learn about room functions and where supplies are kept.
