Ideal for 1-2 adult guests only. We can not accommodate children. The space Granada Suite is a private studio apartment with its own entrance. It is located below our home in the highlands of El Granada overlooking the Pillar Point Harbor. The Suite is 100% soundproof making for a very relaxing and peaceful experience. Being world travelers ourselves, we designed this intimate space, optimizing all 600 square feet of living area according to the comforts and practicalities that we seek when traveling. Upon entering, you are welcomed with driftwood flooring, high ceilings, and a serene palette of grays, blues, and whites. A new eco-friendly queen size bed, appointed with cozy quality bedding awaits you, complete with perfect bedside lighting for those late-night reads. Or if you wish, sit back and enjoy a good movie or program on the flat-screen TV via your personal accounts with Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. The Suite is equipped with a multi-setting fan, low-profile baseboard heater, and a Levoit PM2.5 HEPA air purifier to filter any smoke, dust, and pollen. In the morning, select from a variety of coffee and teas that we provide, wrap up in one of the cozy outdoor blankets, and make your way out to your private garden to watch the day unfold over the ocean. You will have no shortage of options for your day. Whether you are an enthusiastic adventurer or passionate relaxor our coast has something for everyone. After returning home from your day of adventure, you can always swing by Spangler’s Market, our local organic grocer, just down the hill to pick up all the quality ingredients to create a wonderful meal in your fully stocked working kitchen. Or feel free to take a libation outside to watch the sun say 'good night' over the sea. Guest access Enter the Granada Suite through its own private entrance, enjoy the dedicated chairs, table & umbrella in the private side yard, or the back area with 2 adirondack chairs. By chance you may see us in passing through the shared courtyard or you may hear us out on our decks if you we happen to be outside, but not from inside the suite as its 100% sound proof and very private. Other things to note Please note, we have plenty of safe street parking in our quiet neighborhood, however our driveway is on an incline and there are 4 stairs to come up to the courtyard landing where the entrance to the Granada Suite is located. We have yet to have anyone complain about it, but in all fairness want it to be known (please see pictures). We do advise that you have a car for you coastside visit. We unfortunately are not handicap compliant. This a quiet family neighborhood. Please respect that quiet time is from 10pm - 7am. You are welcome to stay out in the garden and enjoy the stars, but we appreciate quiet voices during this time. Additionally, due to our permit, we can only allow a maximum of 2 guests.
