Holidays at the castle. Welcome to Duckwitz! If you really want to enjoy nature, breathe fresh, blue - or is it green - air, yes, then you have come to the right place. You should want for nothing – the kitchen in this beautiful vacation rental is fully equipped – with oven and dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle, toaster... everything you could ever need – and the bathroom has a shower and hairdryer. In the living room, one additional person can sleep on the sofa bed. The space Holidays at the castle in Duckwitz: Vacation directly on the lake with a large castle park, boats, paddleboards, go-karts and lots of space for children. Enjoy tranquility, nature and beautiful sunsets by the water. Families, friends, and dogs are welcome. The perfect place to unwind, play and relax in the Mecklenburg Parkland. Why guests keep coming back: Because children experience freedom here: setting off in the go-kart in the morning, swimming in the lake at noon, creating in the creative workshop in the afternoon and eating stick bread by the campfire in the evening. Because parents can relax, do crafts with their children, or go on an adventure. And because a vacation with friends offers many opportunities for time together, but also a moment alone. Our 7 apartments on one floor are a welcome opportunity to travel with friends and family - here, you can enjoy a pleasant mix of time together and some privacy. Guest access As our guests, you have access to the entire "Schafstall" vacation apartment as well as to the shared outdoor facilities on the castle grounds. This includes: The extensive castle park with old trees The swimming and fishing pier on Lake Duckwitz Free use of canoes, rowboats and pedal boats (subject to availability) Paddleboards Play area, trampoline and zip line Go-karts for children and adults Shared outdoor sitting and lounge areas In addition, the "Kreativ am Schloss" creative workshop is located on the grounds. Workshops and creative activities can be booked separately, depending on the program and availability. The entire grounds offer plenty of space to relax, play and experience nature. Families in particular appreciate the freedom and the safe, low-traffic surroundings. Other things to note There are numerous leisure activities available for families – including boats, go-karts, a play area, a trampoline and direct access to the lake. The use of many of the facilities is already included for our guests. Dogs are welcome here. Please note that other guests with children and dogs may be on vacation on the property. Since we are in the middle of nature, bird chirping, the crowing of our rooster, frogs by the lake, wildlife and occasionally also agricultural activities in the area are part of authentic country life. Depending on the season, creative courses and events or the open workshop take place in our creative workshop, in which guests are welcome to participate.
