The space As you turn off the main road and make your way down the tree-lined lane, the noise of the town fades into the distance. You’ll pass leafy gardens and hear birdsong overhead as you approach the tucked-away entrance to Studio Acorn, a little haven where time seems to slow down. A private parking space is available just outside, so arriving and coming and going is completely hassle-free. The studio is self-contained, with its own front door, garden, and outdoor seating area, so you can enjoy as much peace and privacy as you like. Inside, the studio is elegant and understated, with calming neutral tones, soft lighting, and natural textures. The king-size bed is dressed in crisp cotton bedding, topped with a soft White Company duvet and pillows for a hotel-quality night’s sleep. You’ll also find White Company towels and two plush dressing gowns, ready to wrap yourself in after a shower or for a slow morning coffee in the garden. A Nespresso machine with Starbucks pods is there to make those mornings even better. The studio also features a compact but well-equipped kitchen, superfast WiFi for work or streaming, and a little dining area perfect for breakfast or a glass of bubbles at the end of the day. Large windows and French doors let in plenty of natural light and open straight onto the garden, a leafy private space where you can read, sunbathe, or simply unwind to the soft soundtrack of birds in the trees. Just a 15-minute walk brings you to the heart of Tunbridge Wells, with its boutiques, cafes, and the charming Georgian colonnade of The Pantiles. The mainline station is also nearby, making day trips to London, Hastings, or the Kent countryside wonderfully easy. You’ll find beautiful local walks right on your doorstep, including the Commons and Caverley Park, or take a short drive to explore vineyards, National Trust houses, and historic gardens.
