Luxury Vaal River Family Retreat

Our place is situated on the Vaal river, 50 minutes drive from Johannesburg. We have stunning lawns and beautiful lush river frontage. The house has fresh decor and can easily accommodate 12 people. NB! no more than 12 people allowed in the house. No parties or events. The property does have a slipway and jetty for the guests use, with their own boat. Please don’t send a request if you want to host an event at my property, NO parties or events The space The house is a family holiday home, so it can easily be enjoyed by all, whether a big family gathering or just a group of friends. It is on the rivers edge, so sit back relax and enjoy those pure african sunsets. The rolling lawns make it perfect for a game of touch rugby or lawn cricket. The house is everything you need for a magical escape on the vaal river. Our amazing staff will be available during your stay to assist at no extra fee. No more than 12 people in the house. No floor beds to be made. Guest access Guests have access to the property. The river frontage is not fenced off. It is the responsibility of the guests to supervise all activity on and close to the water and the hosts or staff will not be held liable for any injury, loss or death. A indemnity form will be signed upon check in. Other things to note There is a wonderful couple on the property who is the groundskeeper and the housekeeper. They are available for certain tasks in and around the property, they will make sure that your stay is one of pure relaxation. We have a nespresso machine, so coffee lovers please bring your pods along. Please bring own charcoal and firewood.
