Description
Cosy cottage with log fire and exposed beams that sleeps two people. Located on the edge of Shalford village common with easy access to good pubs, walking and cycling in beautiful countryside. The space The cottage has a large open-plan living area that was converted from an old dairy and has wonderful exposed beams. At one end are the sofas around a log fire, at the other, a dining table and the kitchen. There is a TV and DVD player. The kitchen has a two ring hob and a small combi oven which can grill and microwave as well as being a conventional oven. Off the hallway, the bedroom has a comfortable king sized double bed and enough space for a travel cot - we can provide one if needed, along with a high chair. The bathroom is a good size with WC, basin and bath with shower. All of the rooms are on the ground floor, there are just a couple of steps outside to get to the front door. The cottage has central heating and WiFi. Guest access The cottage is located in the grounds of our house but is accessed via its own entrance. There is parking for your car behind electric gates, on the driveway or in the carport. We can provide locked, indoor storage for bicycles if required. There is a dedicated outdoor seating area for you which looks out over our garden. Gas BBQ available during summer. Washing machine and tumble dryer available in guest laundry room next to the cottage.
