Spacious period home near the beach, perfect for groups and multi generation families. Build in the late 1700's and tastefully renovated sleeping 8 in 4 large bedrooms. Boasting 2 en-suites with roll top baths, a family shower room, high ceilings and an enclosed rear courtyard garden with outdoor seating. Only a few minute stroll to the beach or the pub. Dog friendly. Set in the heart of Winterton on Sea with easy reach to the Norfolk Broads, Horsey, Hemsby, Great Yarmouth and Norwich. The space Further amenities: spacious accommodation with fully fitted modern kitchen, wood burner stove, 3 king bedrooms and 1 twin with two stunning en-suite bathrooms, plus a shower room and one downstairs king bedroom. Free unlimited highspeed WiFi throughout, subject to the service provider (SKY) and an open fire in the lounge. To the rear enjoy a pretty enclosed courtyard garden. There is an onsite free washer & dryer. All bed linen and towels are provided (not beach or dog towels). For families there are two baby travel cots, two high chairs, a baby changing mat, baby monitor, baby bath support, electric bottle steriliser and stair gates top and bottom. Reserved parking space for 1 car with ev charger. There is a TV in every bedroom, one in the kitchen and a large TV in the lounge plus an Xbox. Lots of board games, toys, books and even a pack of cards. One of the best locations right in the heart of the pretty village: less than a 2 minute walk to the Fisherman's Return pub which is super dog friendly serving delicious food daily and 4 minutes walk to the beach. Across the road is Winterton Fish Bar, the local supermarket, post office and Poppy's Tea Rooms. Guest access The entire house is available for exclusive use of the guests during their booking. Access is via the front door and/or the rear door. There are no steps to negotiate to access via the rear door (just the door frame), making it perfect for a child stroller, toddlers or guests with reduced mobility. There is a pretty paved front area and a private secure courtyard garden to the rear with a lockable gate. Other things to note Located across the road from the fish and chip shop, Poppys Tea Rooms and the local convenience store - the location is really just perfect. Parking: one dedicated reserved parking space with an ev charger ensuring access is allowed for our neighbours at either side of the car onto the road. A 2nd car can park on the road. Please vacate the parking on check-out as our housekeeper needs it for parking. On street parking is also available, with consideration of other visitors and residents of the village. It is not a party house for hens or stags, so if you are looking for somewhere to have an event, then this property is not suitable. High speed WiFi is provided free of charge, the service provider is SKY who control the speed and availability. Check out our other property in the village also, Lazy Days Cottage which has 3 bedrooms and is close to the village green. The property now offers EV charging via a dedicated ev charger, managed by an app. The property does not support charging an EV via an extension cable from the mains electricity as it invalidates the insurance policy. If the BBQ or wood burner stove were used, please empty and clean afterwards for the enjoyment of the next guest.
