Charming, updated cottage. Wifi and space to work. Located between Bethany Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD, Fenwick is known as 'The Quiet Resort.' Two blocks to the beach. The cottage is the perfect size for a couple or small family. Sitting on a lovely, quiet block, between the ocean and the bay, the cottage is a quick walk to fine dining, pubs and shopping. The cottage comes with two beach chairs and an umbrella, an outdoor shower, and a beach parking pass. The space No long term or seasonal rentals. Hall Cottage is 2 1/2 hours from both Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. It is located between Ocean City, MD and Bethany Beach, DE. It is known as the 'Quiet Resort.' Bike riding and walking is a favorite pastime in Fenwick! Other things to note Be careful about parking in Fenwick. Police are vigilant and ticket aggressively. When turning the tub/shower on off you may have to find the ‘sweet spot’ in order to turn it off. The ice machine in the refrigerator is unable to be hooked up. There are ice trays, but you may want to buy a bag of ice. Please know that Hall Cottage is one of the original cottages built in Fenwick Island in the early 1950s. The cottage retains its original knotty pine paneling throughout the living and kitchen areas. The cottage has been updated with new flooring in the kitchen, bath and side porch. There is a new microwave, toaster oven and Keurig in the kitchen. The living room couch is new as well as the chairs. I am continuing to update and maintain the cottage. The roof was recently replaced, as was the toilet and the faucet in the bathroom. The cottage is thoroughly cleaned after each guest leaves. In the fall, after the season, the cottage carpet is cleaned and the cottage is thoroughly deep cleaned. Please keep in mind that this is a family home, with many wonderful memories created here.
