This vacation rental is the top 2 stories of a cabin and is attached to a basement vacation rental. Both areas are completely private and separate with separate patios and separate entrances. If you have a large group you can also rent both units of the entire cabin. This huge cabin sits at the end of a private cul-de-sac with plenty of off street parking. The property backs up to the Chugach National Forest and overlooks the Kenai Lake and River, making this the perfect location for your summer getaway, with breathtaking views. The house has 4 bedrooms (4 queen beds plus an extra queen air mattress on a portable frame) and 1.5 bathrooms, plus a living room and full kitchen and laundry area. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials to make you feel at home on your trip. The unit is 2 stories so be prepared for stairs. You can let yourself in anytime with an easy to use Smartlock. As you enter on the main floor, there is a half bath near the entry. Down the hall is a large bedroom with a queen bed and desk. The hallway opens into a large living room and dining room which attaches to the kitchen. The large main floor living room has a Smart TV with Netflix access and huge Southward facing windows that overlook the Kenai Lake. The dining room has a massive dining room table which seats 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, cooking oil, salt, pepper, a coffee maker and filters, microwave and toaster etc to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. There is also a breakfast bar with 3 barstools off of the kitchen with sunroom windows that create a beautiful view of the woods. There is a large balcony off of the dining room and kitchen which wraps around 2 sides of the house for 180 degree views. There is a propane grill and patio furniture, perfect for grilling up your freshly caught salmon and enjoying the serenity of the location. Watch for eagles which like to land on the big curved treetop branch to the south east. Up the grand stair case you will find 3 more bedrooms with queen beds, one of which is a large master bedroom with floor to ceiling windows on one wall to enjoy the view. There is also a full bath on the upstairs level. It has a large vanity and full sized tub/shower plus a washer and dryer. There is a nice grassy area around the house as well as many garden beds, trees, and birdhouses. Help yourself to the wild raspberries, strawberries, currants, and serviceberries that grow around the yard. Check in anytime after 4:00pm. Check out by 10:00am. Access the house anytime during your stay with the Smartlock. He is available for local knowledge and fishing advise, and to take care of maintenance, cleaning, yard work, or trash removal but will not be a bother and will not enter your unit during your stay. This cabin is a quarter mile down a private road from the famous Wild Man's in Cooper Landing. (Mile Post 47.5) Be sure to stop in and try the many flavors of ice cream, their homemade waffle cones are a real treat, and they really fill them up! Only 4 miles to the Russian River Campground and Russian River Falls Trail Head. 7.5 Miles to the Russian River Ferry which can take you to the confluence of the Kenia and Russian River. The property backs up to the Chugach National forest near the Langille Mountain Trail. And is just a few miles from the Resurrection Pass Trail. You will definitely need a rental car during your stay in Cooper Landing.
