Peaceful villa with pool surrounded by beautiful garden

Villa Paz is a beautiful place to say in the Catalan seaside town of L'Escala, Costa Brava. This detached 3 bedroom villa is situated away from the main thoroughfare near the marina. The main beach is a 7 minute walk and the old center of L'Escala is 3km. The nearest airport is Gírona which is 30km away. Surrounded by well tended private garden with large grass lawn and mature trees. There are several places to eat and relax outside following either the sun or the shade, or cool off in the large swimming pool. The villa is ideal for long days relaxing at home, or for taking breakfast on the terrace, or maybe a refreshing swim before or after your day out in this beautiful region. The swimming pool has a cover to help keep it in optimum condition. A swimming pool technician comes twice a week to maintain the pool. Please note the cover is fixed in place and can only be opened and closed by the technician. The cover cannot in any circumstances be removed. There is a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. The two bathrooms were completely refurbished in the winter of 2016, complete with two showers and two toilets. Off the hallway are three twin rooms with built in cupboards. One of the rooms has direct access to the pool and its own terrace. There is a large living room with sofa, arm chairs and a dining area. Outside the kitchen door is a pretty shaded terrace with a table for evening or morning dining. There is also a roof terrace which is set up with clothes lines for drying beach things, or sunbathing. Clean bed linen and towels are provided for the duration of your stay. Kitchen basics and cleaning products are also provided. Among the activities you can do from Villa Paz: - Use the complimentary bicycles to get to the beautiful sandy beaches which line this part of the Costa Brava - Eat locally caught fresh seafood at the nearby fishing quay - Peruse the extensive ruined Roman town at Empúries - Travel inland to the fabulous city of Girona (40 mins by car), or to one of the many beautiful villages that nestle in the foothills of the Pyrenees - A day trip to Barcelona is 1.5 hours by car
