Orbec en trough Entre Bernay et Vimoutiers, Orbec was built in the hollow of the Orbiquet Valley. Claude Debussy composed its "gardens in the rain" .Orbec has kept the built signs of the 16th century: the wooden section of many medieval houses and the cut stone of mansions. It's in this "charming villotte", sung by La Varende, that Didier set out to restore an old butcher shop in this small town to make a cottage. This house was very dilapidated and Didier had to roll up the sleeves so that the metamorphosis takes place because the restoration is done with the most diverse recoveries, coming from secondhand shops and merchants of antique materials, objects revisited for decor, Didier's mission is successful: incredibly warm atmosphere, serene and neat decoration, makes this place an ideal place to meet with friends for a weekend by the fire.
