Apartment with a large garden and lake view

Apartment for 4 people, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom. IMPORTANT: Please bring your own bed linen and towels. Pillows and blankets are there, it's just about the bed linen, sheet size: 160 x 200. On request, we could provide linen packages, the costs of €20/person would have to be paid separately in advance. The apartment is on the ground floor. On the 1st floor above there is another apartment, which is also partly used privately in summer. See the notes below. The space The house is located above the lake on the medieval city wall. From the garden you have a beautiful view over the lake. The swimming area is only a 2-minute walk away and there is a lot to discover in the area. The apartment is on the lower floor of the two-story house on Karl-Marx-Str. 35. The house was built in the early 1930s as a residential and commercial building of a local pottery and stove-setting family. For several years, the lower apartment can be used as a vacation apartment. The apartment consists of two spacious bedrooms. They are connected to each other with a double door, but each room also has a separate entrance. The bedrooms (each with a double bed 160x200) are located on the less busy Karl-Marx-Strasse, from the kitchen window you can see the lake over the courtyard. The historic plank floor in the rooms is made of high-quality pitch pine. The partly original furniture and furnishing details are reminiscent of the history of the artisan family. The kitchen with the tiled floor from the 1930s is equipped with everything you need on vacation. The apartment also has satellite TV, a DVD player, Wi-Fi, bicycles and children's toys (e.g. wooden train, children's books, classic games, etc.) The use of the courtyard and the large garden is of course possible. In the garden there is the possibility to barbecue and a small veranda directly on the medieval city wall. From there you have an unforgettable view over the lake... Guest access The courtyard and garden can be used by our guests. This includes access to the garden through the small workshop. We ask that you do not enter any other rooms out of respect for privacy. Other things to note Included in the price are electricity, water and heating. The upper part of the house is also used regularly in summer. Due to the building fabric (wooden beamed ceiling), you can then hear the normal movement noises from above downstairs, for example. And you also meet in the yard, garden or hallway. Since we grew up there, we know the sounds of the house of course well and don't feel personally disturbing. But of course everyone has a different measure of tranquility and clairaudience. So if you are looking for "absolute tranquility" and would describe yourself as sensitive to noise - feel free to contact us with questions before booking. Otherwise, it is a great pleasure to listen to the birds and sounds of nature on the property and the surrounding area. This is a highlight in every season... And another note for guests with a short stay: the cleaning fee is also due for one or two nights. As a result, the average nightly price for short stays is less favorable than for a longer booking.
