It us unique with lots of light and personality. Wonderful alternative to the typical hotel experience. Or for short term rental needs. Host Recommendations: There is a fab little restaurant with great sushi, called Chopsticks, it's right up the street and around the corner just a half block east. Down the street the other direction toward downtown just a block and a half is The Walking Mall that boasts all sorts of fun places, delicious restaurants: El Centro - Mexican Romas- Italian Union Jacks- British fare Winchester Thai -Sushi Thai and many more … some Saturdays there is a farmers market. The George Washington Hotel across the street has the Half Note Lounge and the often have live music as well. The apartment is above a small photography studio and behind it there is free parking for up to 2 cars where it says tenant parking. On warmer weather weekends there is live music @Piccadilly's Public House ( also good eats) across the street so be sure to bring along your dancing shoes. We do provide ear plugs for guests use should they want them. The train next door does go by and sounds its horn but its all part of the charm of downtown Winchester. For Breakfast walk down to the Piccadilly Grill for old fashioned counter top eating. Don’t miss Bonnie Blue on Amherst it’s delicious breakfast /lunch! PLEASE NOTE: All major holidays ( Local: Apple Blossom National: Christmas/ Thanksgiving/ New years/4th of July / Memorial & Labor Day will include an additional $100 fee. This fee will be requested prior to guests arrival. Please NOTE: Long term stays over a month will be subject to monthly cleanings to be arranged at their convenience and cost. This fee will be requested prior to guests arrival. Guest access If needed there is access to coin laundry facilities are just down the road. Other things to note There is a fab little restaurant with great sushi, called Chopsticks, it's right up the street and around the corner just a half block east. Down the street toward downtown a block and a half I'd Steamy's a really unique bohemian little cafe with homemade bagels. Tell Lenny the owner "hello!" The Walking Mall is just two blocks down and boasts all sorts of fun places, and on Saturdays a farmers market. The apartment is above a vintage consignment shop with free parking for up to 2 cars behind the shop where it says tenant parking. The Bedroom in the apt is in the rear of the building but if you need to get up early on weekend mornings we do have earplugs should you need them ...there is live music at Piccadilly's across the street on the weekends in the warmer weather, so be sure to bring along your dancing shoes. 10pm to 7am. Should guests accidentally lock themselves out of the Airbnb guests may need to contact a locksmith to regain access.
