Baltic Sea vacation with fireplace: The large forest house
Description
The small brick building, affectionately called 'Waldhaus', is located right on the edge of the forest. It has been expanded into 2 apartments of different sizes, each on the first floor and on the 2nd floor. The 'Große Waldhaus' for 4 people (mainly 2 adults and 2 children, since the standing height on the upper floor is only about 1.70 m due to the roof slopes) is bright & friendly. The apartment is about 60 m². It has 1 living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom with toilet & shower, satellite TV, etc. The space Every guest will find a place to relax, dream, play or romp on our spacious lawns or under the old trees in our private park. If you are interested, you can participate in the agricultural activities. In the old forge, there is a room available for groups, which is also suitable for events and seminars all year round. We offer our guests garden furniture, barbecue, table tennis, storage facilities for bicycles, surfboards, etc. There is also a room with a washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. Hohenhain is an oasis of calm. Take off your watch and follow the hiking trails through the tall beech forest, along bright yellow rapeseed fields and past wide, undulating barley fields. Experience the silence – and linger on the high cliffs overlooking the open sea. Immediately behind the estate begins a large beech forest. Occasionally deer come into the park. A footpath leads through old ash and chestnut avenues in 10 minutes' walk to the sea. Extensive lonely hiking trails, which are also easily accessible by bicycle, lead through the forest or directly along the steep coast. This is up to 30 m high in some places, a rarity on the entire Baltic Sea coast. Other things to note plus: Spa tax from April to October: €2.50 per day and guest from the age of 18, a maximum of €50 per year (from 20 days) - arrival and departure are considered 2 individual days Upon presentation of a disability card from 50%, the guest pays half the spa tax. In the event of a 100% disability, the guest is exempt from the spa tax. Why a visitor's tax? The spa tax is used for the acquisition, maintenance and expansion of the public facilities provided for spa and recreational purposes. These include, for example, the maintenance of the spa promenade and the spa park, the cleaning of the beach and the cleaning and maintenance of the toilet facilities, the DLRG lifeguards, as well as their tools and the implementation of numerous events throughout the year for young and old. Consequently, the Ostseecard* in Eckernförde financially supports facilities and events that specifically benefit guests.
