Red Kite Barn is a charming luxury rural retreat in a recently converted oak framed barn – providing a slice of country living on modern terms. Red Kite Barn occupies a beautiful setting in the heart of the Sussex countryside in both the High Weald and an AONB. With little luxuries like under floor heating, goose down bedding and a cast iron wood burner together with a wood fired hot tub, fire pit and BBQ all within a private garden, Kite Barn is the perfect romantic getaway. The space The property includes an open plan sitting/dining room with under floor heating and a cast iron log burner. There is a comfortable sofa and arm chair, a coffee table, wall-mounted Samsung Frame TV with built-in Alexa, board games and a large dining table which could also be used for home working. The kitchen is spacious with quartz surfaces and fully equipped with Bosch electric oven, Bosch induction hob, Zanussi Fridge with freezer compartment and a Hoover washing/dryer. There is plenty of worktop space and is well equipped for all your culinary needs. The bedroom has a traditional dorm style metal king size bed with memory foam mattress, Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvet and pillows, two bedside tables, wall-mounted reading lamps, two built-in wardrobes and an oak dressing table with black out blinds throughout. The bathroom, situated off the bedroom, is fully tiled with part under floor heating, traditional washbasin with chrome stand, WC, Aquas electric shower with waterfall shower head together with hand held hose and a heated towel rail. Guest access Red Kite barn has its own private gated entrance and garden with uninterrupted views over the Sussex countryside, a patio with outdoor sofa situated under a pagoda, table and chairs and Weber BBQ. There is a separate raised patio with the wood fired hot tub and sun loungers (beach towels and robes are also provided) and a glass house with table and benches (please feel free to pick your own herbs, vegetable and flowers when they are in season). Additionally, there is a large iron fire pit and chairs. There is an abundance of wonderful walks straight from your front door that guests can access from the fields direct from the private garden. Wood, kindling and firelighters are provided, please feel free to use the hot tub and fire pit at your convenience.
