Quiet but conveniently located holiday apartment in the World Heritage City of Bamberg
Welcome, we are pleased that you are interested in our holiday apartment and would be happy to welcome you as guests in our house. If you do not want to book right away, please send us a message to the landlord. We will gladly answer your questions. Fewo currently only allows credit card payments for direct online bookings. If you prefer a different payment method, please use the message to the landlord function beforehand. Our apartment has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living-dining room, where there is also a couch that can easily be converted into a double bed or two single beds. You can stay with us for up to six people. In addition to the sofa bed, you sleep with us on comfortable mattresses. From our quiet, yet conveniently located holiday apartment, you can walk to the city center in around 25 minutes through the Gärtnerviertel, a part of the world cultural heritage of the city of Bamberg. Alternatively, there are two bus lines (line 931 towards Breitenau, 901 towards Gartenstadt) around 150 m away (stop: Kloster-Banz-Straße). From there it is 100 m to our house. You can recognize our house by the bakery sales point with the red awnings. There is a children's playground 200 meters away. Free parking spaces are in front of our house. From our quiet, yet conveniently located holiday apartment, you can walk to the city center in around 25 minutes through the Gärtnerviertel, a part of the world cultural heritage of the city of Bamberg. Alternatively, there are two bus lines available at a distance of around 150 m. You can easily reach the Heinrichs-Eck apartment from the A 73 motorway (Bamberg-Süd exit or Bamberg-Ost exit) and from the A 70 motorway (Bamberg exit). There are parking spaces right outside the front door. There is a bakery sales point in the house. If you want, you can go shopping for fresh bread rolls of your choice from Monday to Saturday. Homemade jam is available free of charge on request for breakfast. Our apartment can comfortably accommodate four people. If necessary, the sofa bed can accommodate two more people. The apartment is equipped with two bedrooms, living and dining room, kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet. Butcher, supermarket, photo shop, doctor and dentist, two Italian restaurants and a tanning studio are in the immediate vicinity. In about 5 minutes you are in a beer bar and in 7 minutes you can reach an Indian restaurant. The nearest bus stop (Kloster-Banz-Straße) on Zollnerstraße (lines 901 and 931 and night bus line 935) can be reached on foot in two minutes. The night line also stops here. From there it is only two stops to the train station. The university town of Bamberg, with its old town, but also with the Gärtnerviertel, just a few minutes' walk from our house, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. Bamberg is known for the tradition of its breweries as well as for its world-famous cathedral and the diversity of its medieval and baroque old town. The E. T.A. Hoffmann Theater and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra offer a rich program for theater and music lovers. From our apartment you can explore the beauty of the city and take excursions to Franconian Switzerland, Nuremberg, Würzburg, Coburg or the baroque architecture of Franconia in Banz Monastery, Vierzehnheiligen and Pommersfelden. The Obermain-Therme in Bad Staffelstein invites you to relax.
