The small and picturesque village of Detling is found on the slope of the North Downs, just northeast of Maidstone, and on the Pilgrims' Way - ideal if you're looking for a break only a short distance away from London.​ The space With a wealth of Oak Beams, cathedral ceilings and an Inglenook style fireplace with wood burning stove (logs provided from months of 1st October-30th April). The Cottage in the Wood is the perfect escape in the Kent countryside for up to 4 guests. Natural stone floors throughout giving a cosy, warm and welcoming Interior. Nestling in the woods with stunning uninterrupted views over the local vineyard with sunsets to die for, particularly with the views out of the master bedroom with its full-length windows and the hot tub nestling within the oak framework of the cottage. Enjoy lazy country walks through open countryside and within reasonable walking distance of two local country pubs. The main town of Maidstone is within 10minutes drive. With a number of features including wood burning stove (fireplace; bag of firewood provided from months of 1st October-30th April), new TV and Bose sound system, fully fitted kitchen with full size fridge freezer and sheltered exclusive use hot tub.
