A light and airy barn conversion with amazing views of the Edale Valley The space Smith Cottage at Rowlands Farm is a beautiful two-bedroom cottage – part of a barn conversion completed in the summer of 2018. Sitting at the head of the famous Edale Valley, the cottage has unrivalled, 360-degree views of Mam Tor, the Kinder Plateau and the Great Ridge, and guests have access to an adjacent private picnic field with arguably the best views in the Peak District! The cottage is cosy but contemporary, with full-height barn door windows making the most of those views. The galleried master bedroom boasts a superking bed, while a second bedroom has twin single beds. All beds boast cosy down duvets and luxurious bed linen. The second bedroom also has French doors leading to its own terrace. Downstairs, the cottage has a comfy living area, a fully-equipped kitchen and a beautiful bathroom, all with underfloor heating. Walkers can explore the stunning Edale Valley right from their doorstep, while Edale village, with its pubs, cafes and shop, is a lovely 20-minute walk from the cottage.
