Miller's Cottage - Gradbach Mill

On the banks of the River Dane in the tiny hamlet of Gradbach, this 3 bedroom cottage can be found in an unspoilt corner of the Peak District National Park with views of our meadow & surrounding countryside. The cottage is at the rear of an 18th century stone built silk mill, which is currently ran as an events & conference venue as well as offering B&B with a separate seasonal café. There're walks from the door & an abundance of wildlife in the grounds, a great place for a relaxing stay. The space There's a very spacious lounge with sofa, armchairs & dining table along with a small log burner & TV. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, grill & 4 hobs, dishwasher, microwave, coffee percolator, kettle toaster & a good selection of pots, pans, oven trays & cooking equipment. The bedrooms are all spacious with central heating throughout, bedding & towels are all supplied. The cottage is attached to the rear of the Mill & is overlooked from the rear bedrooms of the property & staff use an adjacent garage area as an entrance & deliveries are made through that access too although this should not cause constant disturbance, you may hear activity in this area from the cottage from time to time but we would not expect this to detract from a nice relaxing break in the cottage. Standard checkout time is 9am, this is extended as standard to 12pm for Sunday departures. Guest access At the front of the Mill there are plenty of parking spaces for you and all your guests, just a short 30 second walk to the cottage. A front garden perfect for all the family, completely fenced in. Private access to the property, so you'll feel completely at home. Front door is fitted with a lock-box, you'll be given 2 keys during your stay. Gradbach is situated right on the footpath to popular walking spots Luds Church, The Roaches and Three Shires Head. And just a stroll along the river to Wincle Brewery and a local pub.
