Casa do Maestro - Costa da Morte (Coast of Death)

Casa do Maestro is the result of a careful renovation of an old barn in which dry grass was kept to feed the cattle, and firewood. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with 55" TV and pellet stove, and a bathroom. Upstairs, accessed via an original Japanese staircase, there is a large double bed, a sofa bed and another TV. We have a beautiful garden with a barbecue, and a parking area. The space The house is located in an area with numerous megalithic remains such as dolmens and batanes, as well as historical buildings such as medieval castles or centuries-old churches. For example, in Vimianzo, which is the municipality in which we are located, there is its famous castle (with live crafts and theatrical visits) or the dolmen of Pedra Cuberta, one of the most important enclaves in Galicia for its barbarian, Romanesque and pre-Romanesque remains. We also have the jewel of the peninsular northeast in terms of the Castro, such as the Castro das Barreiras. In addition, about 30/40 minutes from our location you can visit emblematic lighthouses such as Fisterra or Cabo Vilán de Camariñas (the first electric lighthouse in Spain), magical sanctuaries such as the Virxe da Barca (Virgin of the Boat) in Muxía, or unique places such as the Ézaro Waterfall (Dumbría), being the only river in Continental Europe that flows directly into the sea. There are numerous festivals throughout the Costa da Morte during the summer months, and in the small municipalities you will find fairs or markets where you can eat fresh fish, as well as organic fruit or vegetables. We offer you a little bit of everything, but of extraordinary quality. Enjoy the Costa da Morte in all its splendor. Guest access There are no common spaces, as we rent the entire property.
