George Mine Barn, Bolehill, in the Peak District

George Mine Barn is a stone built barn on the edge of Bolehill and just a short walk into Wirksworth. Situated at the end of a farm lane, the barn is surrounded by farmland and has views over nearby Wirksworth. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area, or visiting the many visitor attractions nearby. The space George Mine Barn is full of charm and character with original features throughout and spacious accommodation including: - Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms; 2 doubles upstairs & 1 double (4ft) downstairs - Cosy sitting room with cosy log burning fire, Colour TV with Freeview. Additional TV's in each bedroom - Fully fitted kitchen / Diner including a cooker, microwave fridge & freezer, dishwasher, & dining table to seat 6 - Utility room with washing machine, Iron and additional sink - Family bathroom upstairs with bath & shower over, plus a cloakroom downstairs - Gas Central heating, fuel and power included - Bed linen and towels included - Free Wifi available - Dogs welcome at no extra charge - Cot and highchair available on request - Patio garden with furniture, ideal for sitting out and enjoying a barbeque - Ample private parking Guest access Entire barn with its own private entrance. The barn is situated at the end of a "green" farm lane, around 200m outside the village. Very low sports type cars may have difficulty on the green lane (we have a fiesta, which we access the cottage with without problems). The post code is a wide area, your joining instructions include details for what3words, which gives a precise location to the top of the lane Other things to note Check in is by key lock and all necessary information will be sent out with arrival details. The safety and well-being of all my guests is my priority. The cottage is professionally cleaned and disinfected in line with all government policies so that you can relax and just enjoy your holiday. Access to the cottage is via a green lane with gravelled tracks for about 200m from the village - see photograph - We usually access the cottage using a Fiesta or a Transit Van. Low vehicles or larger vehicle may have issues accessing the Barn. The Barn is surrounded by farmland, usually used for animal grazing. The wall / fencing around the Barn is around waist height.
