Come and visit our historic Victorian home, nestled in the heart of Sullivan County. Built-in 1903, the unique home is filled with character and charm. The large rooms and cozy decor will give you a feeling of relaxation and comfort as soon as you arrive. The house is perfect for families and groups with a full dining room and well-equipped kitchen. The space The ground floor includes a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining room with chairs for 6. You can add additional seating if you need it. The living room is super cozy with a large sofa and two leather armchairs. The music room has a record player, records, and an additional sofa to sit and chill in. The dining room leads out to a covered porch with a lovely view of the garden and rolling hills behind. With two armchairs it is perfect for sitting and enjoying a glass of wine in the summer or getting cozy in the winter under some blankets. There is a large mud room and indoor garden on the side of the house where you can leave boots and jackets after exploring the area. There are two large rooms and a nursery on the second floor. One is a large master bedroom with king size bed and the other is a cozy queen bedroom with a desk. The nursery has an on-floor twin bed and changing table. The third-floor suite is a dream. You will find a queen bed, a single bed, and a sofa. It is the quietest and most relaxing space in the house so enjoy it! Guest access You have access to the whole house. Other things to note The house sits on one acre of land on a historic road in Cochecton, giving you a ten-minute ride to both Narrowsburg and Callicoon. You are just a few min's drive from local gems like Beach Lake Bakery (PA) and The Pump House. The Cochecton Fire Station restaurant and Cochecton Spirits are a minute's walk down the hill so super convenient for dinner and drinks. The location is excellent for river access to the Delaware River and countless lakes across Sullivan County. We have two kayaks (and life vests) should you want to be adventurous! The area is also known for hosting the 1969 Woodstock Festival in the town of Bethel just a few minutes away. Bethel now houses the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts that you can visit to immerse yourself in the Woodstock experience. There is live music throughout the summer at reasonable prices so go and catch a live outdoor show.
