"Les Echiums" 3-star charming gîte

Charming cottage *** "The countryside by the sea" (3.5 km). Located in a green valley, amidst ornamental gardens, it is a recently restored single-family house (80 m²), respecting the typical rural habitat of Cotentin. Ideally located north of the Cotentin peninsula, it will allow you to enjoy the many beaches and hiking trails, to taste the pleasures of shore fishing or local markets. The furnished terrace will invite you to relax or read. The space We tried to reconcile the charm of an old house (late 16th century) with the functionality and comfort of our current homes. The light is bright and the windows open onto changing vegetation, throughout the seasons. Taffaîtes and potter gaudions adorn the roof while the shower cabin invites you to a back hydromassage. The transition inside-out is smooth thanks to a fully equipped terrace for evenings with family or friends (barbecue, sunbathing, garden furniture, etc.). The 2 bedrooms are spacious and cozy, with carefully chosen bedding. Finally, we wanted the decoration to be harmonious, warm and likely to please as many people as possible, both Modern and Ancient. N.B. This accommodation is not accessible for people with reduced mobility (interior staircase of 11 steps). Les Echiums does not offer an electric car charging station (dedicated public charging stations are available nearby). Guest access The house "Les Echiums" is entirely at your disposal (80 m²) with free access to the entire garden (5200 m²). Free parking in front of the cottage, in the inner courtyard of the property. No "electric charging" option for cars; arrangements are possible for charging cycles, on request. Other things to note We are 3.5 km from Port Diélette, the beaches of Siouville and its surf spot. The village of Les Pieux, 7 km away, has all the necessary services and shops. About twenty km to the north, there is Cherbourg and its historic harbor, the Cité de la Mer and the study of the abyss. In addition to the sea and the countryside, many sites of interest are available to you within a day's radius: Mt Saint-Michel, D-Day beaches and memorial sites, historical treasures such as the famous Bayeux tapestry, multiple castles and manors, museums and exhibitions, tastings of local specialties, crossings to the nearby Channel Islands…
