Cedar Lodge In Alvescot

A spacious 4 bedroom house that sleeps 9 situated in the beautiful village of Alvescot. Cedar Lodge has been renovated to a high standard and is a perfect Cotswold getaway for any family or group. The space Cedar Lodge is a elegant house situated in the picturesque village of Alvescot in Oxfordshire. It has undergone extensive renovation and makes for the perfect Cotswold getaway for any family or group. The property is set on third of an acre and you are welcomed in through automated gates to ensure your privacy and security. The entrance hall is two stories with an open oak staircase leading up to a balcony. The landing with a shabby chic theme, a wrought iron chandelier and relaxing day bed (that can also be pulled out to a king sized bed to sleep 2) is the perfect place to unwind after walking the Cotswolds trails and visiting the local attractions. There are 4 bedrooms in the property, 3 doubles (the master with an ensuite) and one single. Asides from the ensuite shower room, there is one other bathroom and one other shower room to cater the other guests. The country style kitchen with its oak worktops, range cooker and oak flooring is a lovely space for socialising, cooking, eating or entertaining. There is also a dining room with all oak/leather furniture if you wanted somewhere more formal. The living room is ideal for a cosy night in front of the log burner, watching TV and snuggling up on the leather sofas. This may be deserved after a long walk around the cotswold villages. There is a lawn around the property for children to play and a patio for outside entertainment with a gas BBQ for those summer month. There is room on the driveway for 4 cars. Guest access You will have access to the entire house with your own entrance through electric gates. You can press the call button on the intercom to gain access on your first day and then you will be given given key fobs to use for the rest of your stay. Other things to note We require a copy of ID from the person that is responsible for the property during the let. Without ID, the booking will be cancelled and any cancellations fees will still apply. Please note that we no longer allow Hen or Stag events. I'm afraid we don't allow pets, or smoking indoors. We would appreciate our guests respecting the neighbours after 11pm and keeping the noise to an acceptable level. Please adhere to the check-in time and check-out time unless agreed by the host prior to the reservation being confirmed. Primary guests making the reservation are not allowed to welcome guests in to the property other that those booked to stay.
