Sensational room in the Ennser Stadtturm

The town tower was built in 1564 from stones of the Ennser Scheiblingkirche. For more than four hundred years, the city tower served as a church tower, fire alarm post, clock tower and city guard. The expertly restored and modernized room served as a tower apartment for centuries. A steep ascent over 71 stone steps takes you to the extraordinary hotel room high above the main square of Enns. That night, the City Tower "belongs" to you alone. The space The equipment corresponds to that of a modern hotel room with bathroom, rain shower, toilet, cable TV and wireless Internet via Liwest, Nespresso coffee, minibar and of course a historic ambience in an exceptional place. A special feature of the tower hotel is the square bed positioned centrally in the room. Other things to note The interior shell was renovated under the strictest conditions of monument protection. 23 layers of plaster and paint from four centuries were laboriously uncovered and documented. Our restorers found in June 2012 in a niche the presumably original rope lead-through of the watch winding. The original shop floor was discovered under younger floor coverings, numbered piece by piece and brought to restoration and finally laid again. Between conglomerate stone and smoke-blackened vaulting, haas_architektur from Enns realized a modern pixel hotel room with a rain shower in the old Rauchkuchl.
