BEAUTIFUL ROMANTIC OLD STONE HOUSE, SEA VIEW, PRICACY

THE HOUSE In one of the quietest places on the Peloponnese, in the gentle hills near Gythion, our house is in all silence. There is an olive grove, there are almond, citrus, orange and fig trees, which you can freely pick. The house can accommodate 4 people. There are two bedrooms with a double bed each. There is a spacious bathroom. There is a washing machine and dishwasher and an oven. There are lounge benches on the terrace where you can sunbathe during the day and watch the stars in the evening. You can have breakfast in the first sunlight on the spacious balcony. You have a view of the sea and the bare mountains of the Mani. The old robust house that is called the monastery by its high rooms was restored in 2007 with a sense of detail. The kitchen and bathroom are designed by a designer and exude an atmosphere that matches the robust house. The location is soothing and magnificent and very private. GYTHION Less than 5 minutes drive and you are in the lively fishing village of Gythion, where you can choose from various restaurants and terraces. There is a marina there. BEACHES There is a large sandy beach five minutes away. But there are also many small beaches in the area where hardly anyone comes. In the afternoon there is often a little wind, ideal for surfing and kite surfing. LIST In the house there is a list with recommendations for restaurants, for beaches, for wonderful walks in the Taigetos mountains, for beautiful trips in the area. Bed linen and towels are provided, bring your own beach towels! HIKING From the house you can make all the walks you want. There are no fences anywhere, you can go anywhere! There are also beautiful walks to make in the Taigetos mountains, hiking maps available. WEATHER From April to the end of November it is wonderful weather. Sometimes it can give summer temperatures in December and January, 25 degrees. INTERNET There is limited internet available. That means, you can pick up and send your mail and a few things that do not consume too much data. THE JOURNEY If you want to come by car, you can take the boat from Italy, we always go from Ancona to Patras. Do you want to fly? We usually fly to Athens, usually with Transavia, rent a car and drive to our house in 3 hours.
