The Odysseus windmill is a renovated three-storey stone building near the castle of Volissos, above the village. It is a family windmill that has been transformed into a home with great care offering its guests all the comforts. It has a unique view. It overlooks the entire Aegean Sea, the peaks of Mount Pelion, but also the Castle of Volissos. One of its key features is that it is powered by solar energy (green energy). In the outdoor seating area, you can enjoy your drink, your coffee or your meal, having at your feet the traditional settlement of Volissos and the Aegean Sea. At the same time, the visitor can find himself by car or on foot in the center of the Volissos area, as well as on its popular beaches. Outdoors there is also a playground and a large lawn area. Inside, on the ground floor of the Windmill, is the living room (there is a sofa that has a twin or a double bed), with the kitchen and the bathroom. On the 1st floor there is a double bed and on the 2nd there is also a double bed with WC. Guest access Visitors have access to all the free outdoors that are inside the protective rope that surrounds it. Also in the interior, two doors are locked, one has inside, all that is needed for the operation of the photovoltaic system and the other has inside the burner for the heating system and the hot water. Other things to note In the windmill area there is a stairway leading to the two separate bedrooms, which will make it difficult for people with mobility problems who can only be accommodated in the comfortable sofa that turns into a bed in the ground floor of the living room. During the visitors' stay, we would like to be aware of the electrical appliances that will want to operate in our area, as the windmill uses the energy of the sun in order not to pollute the environment.
